MEET THE TEAM

JACK KENNEDY

Writer/Producer/Actor

Me and Judd on set.HEIC

Jack was born in Ohio, where his mother dropped him on his head several times. She brags about it to this day. After moving around the Midwest and winding up as a carpetbagger in Alabama, he found his calling on stage as The Mock Turtle in a production of Alice and Wonderland. He continued his thespian pursuits at The United States Military Academy, giving such a compelling performance as a West Point cadet that the government actually made him an Officer. After leaving the Army, he made his way to LA and has taken his sweet ass timing building his acting career, doing in 25 years what most could do in 5. However, he has been fortunate enough to work with the likes of Forrest Whitaker, Ben Kingsley, Rob Lowe, and now Judd Nelson. He also once mollycoddled Martin Short in his arms while Martin sucked his thumb and played him like the bagpipes.

Jack has been just as lackadaisical in building his writing career. You Are Here is his first feature. He previously wrote and produced 3 short films, one of which got distribution on DirectTV.

Wherever his career goes from here, Jack's favorite role is as father and husband...and he's not just saying that. His wife literally pays their bills while Jack gets to coach Little League and play Daddy Monster. It truly is A Wonderful Life.

CLAIRE ROSE KENNEDY

Claire Rose Kennedy fell in love with Los Angeles the first day she moved to town and backed a production cube truck into the Quixote Hollywood building (that’s how long ago it was). Since then, she’s worked as a grip, production manager, writer and points in between on her way to directing.

Claire Rose Kennedy fell in love with Jack Kennedy when he agreed on a road trip to Jackson Hole for their first date. It was then that she first read The Cow Who Lost Her Moo (available on the Merch page) and realized Jack would be a great dad. She also read You Are Here and realized that Jack is a pretty good writer.

In addition to Jack, her kids (Jack David, Calleigh June, and Quinn Patrick), her family and Los Angeles, Claire also loves ducks, hippos, and gift shops.

Director/Producer

DENNIS NOACK

Dennis Noack was born in Germany but grew up in the Pacific Northwest before decamping to the University of Southern California. He has a longstanding love of landscape and analogue photography which influences his graphic and immersive cinematographic style.

Having DP-ed over 30 projects already, he is well on his way towards making a name for himself as a dedicated and versatile collaborator always willing to go the extra mile for the shot. He splits his time between Berlin and LA, though his projects have taken him around the globe– from the snows of Alaska filming dogsledding teams, to San Pedro’s foggy mornings.

Original Music by....

meta_eyJzcmNCdWNrZXQiOiJiemdsZmlsZXMifQ==.webp

Aaron Skiles was a classmate of Jack’s at West Point (Go Army Beat Navy). Like Jack, when he left the service, he dove into creative pursuits, writing, performing, and recording music. In 2022 he released Wreckage From the Fire, a rock album featuring members of the Drive-By Truckers and in 2023, he followed it up with Whistle Past The Grave, which was voted Album of the Year by Americana Highways readers, making him the perfect person to write and perform our theme song.

Skiles wrote the original theme song ten years ago when he first read the You Are Here script and his music served as inspiration and a driving force in keeping the dream alive and the momentum flowing. For this, we are forever grateful.  It should be noted that while he lives in the Bay Area, he is a proud Dodgers fan.

AARON SKILES

8-time Emmy Nominee Nick Gomez was born into the entertainment business, so it was only natural that after his time at Berklee College of Music, he would make his way into film and television composing. His original compositions have featured in such diverse projects as Katt Williams Live! and the neo-noir feature film Hollywood Grit.

Additionally, Nick plays saxophone both solo and with an incredible array of bands, everyone from touring with Naked Eyes to collaborating with Wang Chung to composing with Billy Bones. His rock songs have been on KROQ and his smooth jazz songs have been on the jazz charts.

In 2024 he released an EP and two Smooth Jazz singles, toured with Haircut 100, ABC and Howard Jones. We are thrilled to have him lend his considerable talents to You Are Here.

CHAD AYINDE

Chad D. Ayinde is an award-winning producer and writer drawn to stories that live in the gray—where perception bends, morality fractures, and nothing is quite what it seems.

His work, including Adam’s Fire, Eye of the Beholder, The Assassins Guild of America series, and The Great Cosmic Hoax, is built on bold, high-concept ideas brought to life through grounded, character-driven storytelling. Ayinde has a sharp instinct for shaping perspective—guiding narratives that pull audiences into familiar territory before revealing something far more unsettling underneath. With a producing sensibility rooted in precision, restraint, and intention, he continues to develop and champion projects that challenge expectations while staying deeply engaging.

Producer

JULIAN MOSS

Julian describes himself as British - ‘born and inbred’, although he has been a US citizen for more than 12 years now. Across the pond he was mostly working in London in front of the camera acting on commercials, TV shows, operas and films.

Since moving to LA, Julian has written, produced and directed a number of his own short films as well as produced three WWII feature films amongst other credits, while also avidly writing screenplays and novels. If you can’t find him behind his laptop tickling the keyboard, he’ll be at Gold’s Gym in Venice pumping iron as any good narcissist would. Julian has been a BAFTA LA member for more years than most of the crew on You Are Here have been alive.

JOELLE TOURNEUR

Joelle_Closeup_Headshot.PNG

Joelle Tourneur is a native Angeleno hailing from the Westside of LA. There, due to her parents’ clashing cultures, she adopted a very strange and eccentric rolodex of artistic references. Joelle is a Meisner-trained actor and loves everything from Brian de Palma to Robert Crumb to Shakespeare to Bret Easton Ellis. Her first short film (which she co-wrote), Parks, Boulevards, and Playgrounds, screened at The Montana International Film Festival and won Best Student Short at the Cal Film Festival and Berlin Kiez Film Festival.

When she is not editing, making trendy TikToks for Claire and Jack, or making sure you all love this FANTASTIC, OUT OF THIS WORLD, ONE OF A KIND movie, she loves to write and act. Her first feature is set to shoot early next year.

Joelle is responsible for the film’s marketing campaign and can be reached via the email below for any PR inquiries or general questions about getting You Are Here to a theatre near you.
